Partnerships & Strategic Alliances

We operate partnerships and alliances through a number of modalities:

  • We partner to increase our trait pipeline, enhance our germplasm base or build channels to deploy technologies in the marketplace;
  • We collaborate with large players in the forestry, biopower and biofuel industries to develop special crops based on our germplasm or their proprietary germplasm
  • We partner with entities to develop processes that can better utilize our modified germplasm for enhanced post-harvest production
  • We license our technologies, processes and germplasm in non-core sectors

FuturaGene's Partner of Choice positioning allows us to offer partners the full range of capabilities from integrating and prototyping a trait through field trials and elite event selection, as well as regulatory expertise and market deployment with guaranteed offtakes.

Recognizing regional differences in agricultural practice, crop types and varieties, we continuously seek local research and business partnerships in many geographic regions worldwide to collaborate in our R&D efforts and join our commitment to the development of versatile and environmentally sustainable products.
